A paper Roll of Honour, the decoration includes the City's coat of arms, the original was framed and glazed. The Roll of Honour was held in Nottingham Corporation's offices on Woodborough Road, Nottingham, but was later moved to East Midlands Gas Board HQ in Lenton, Nottingham. When this centre closed the memorial was moved to the National Museum of Labour History in Manchester where it is currently housed. (National Museum of Labour History, Princess Street, Manchester M1 6DD). The dedication reads: 'Roll of Honour of men who served the King and Country during the Great War, 1914-1918. Corporation of Nottingham Gas Department, Distribution Centre, Woodborough Road.' Note: Sanday's surname is transcribed as 'Sandy'.
