Rainworth - St Simon & St Jude's Church - Lectern WW1
St Simon and St Jude, Southwell Road East, Rainworth, near Mansfield. The names of Rainworth's fourteen Great War dead are inscribed around the brass lectern column. Following World War Two, a wooden plaque was added at the base which honours service from both conflicts although the 21 names are those of the WW2 casualties since the names of the Great War casualties were engraved on the lectern when it was installed.
