Military History

Private Edwin Smith enlisted at Nottingham, he initially served with the service number 51489 in the Sherwood Foresters Regiment. He died age 34 of wounds on 20th October 1918 and is buried in Harlebeke New British Cemetery (grave ref X.A.8)
