Ernest Cooper

Seventeen year-old Pte. Ernest Cooper, 2nd Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, formerly 4th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, was killed in action on 30th August 1915. He is buried in Y Farm Military Cemetery, Bois-Grenier.

He left his country quite prepared, his fair young life to give; he bravely answered duty's call, his life he gave for one and all.
