Family History

George William married Ellen Munns (born 5th March 1885) in Nottingham in 1905 they lived at 4 Chapel Yard, Ronald Street, Radford and had the following children, Ellen born 11th October 19105, Frances Annie born 3rd July 1907, George James born 7th August 1911 and Margaret Emma Ecob born 25th September 1913 In 1911 the family lived at 784 Woodborough Road Nottingham. His widow was awarded a pension of 28 shillings and 9 pence a week commencing 12th December 1917 which was raised to 33 shillings and 9 pence a week on 1st May 1918.

Military History

Private George William Ecob served with the Army Vetinary Corps, he landed in France on 5th June 1915 and died of hear failure on 30th August 1917.
