David Logan Craig was born in 1893 in Nottingham and was the son of James a letter press printer and Norah Craig, in the 1901 census the family are living at 38 Leighton Street, Nottingham His father James was born in 1842 in Hull and his mother Norah was born in 1861 in Queenstown, Ireland and have the following children Elizabeth b1883 Scotland, John b1884 Scotland, David b1893 Nottingham and William Alexander b1897 Nottingham.

Military History

David Logan Craig enlisted at Nottingham and died at No. 8 Casualty Clearing Station, Bailleul, as a results of gas poisoning. He is buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension.
