Family History

William Evison and Mary Duckmanton, (married 1887 Retford) had three children by 1901. In 1889 they were living at Norton Woodseats, Derbyshire where Jim Evison was born. They then moved to Elkesley, Notts and had two children, Sam and Elsie and by 1901, was resident in West Drayton, Notts. In 1909 Jim Evison married Elsie Maria Walker and two years later, the couple were living at 1 Sheppards Row, Northgate, Newark where they had three children, Alice May born 2/12/1909, Samuel born. 20/12/1911 and Jim born 24/1/1915. Jim's father, William died in 1918, shortly before the death of Jim himself.
