Enoch Benjamin Harris was born in 1899 the son of Joseph a pipe moulder in iron works and Mary Ann Harris née Hadlington of 75, Frederick Rd., Stapleford, Joseph was born in 1868 at Netherton, Worcestershire and Mary Ann Hadlington was born in 1870 at Dudley, Worcestershire, married in 1893 at Dudley and had children, Sarah, George William, Joseph Thomas and Doris May Harris. In 1911 they lived at 1 Kent Road Stapleford Nottinghamshire.

Military History

Private Enoch Benjamin Harris enlisted at Ilkeston whilst residing at Stapleford, he was killed in action on 29th September 1918 and buried in Bellicourt British Cemetery.
