Military History

Eighteen year-old Pte. Ernest Orchard, 2nd Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, was killed in action on 9th August 1915 he has no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium
