He was the son of William and Nora Fletcher and the brother of Christopher, Leonard and Eileen Fletcher of 57, Noel Street, Hyson Green, Nottingham. He was the husband of Edna Blanche Fletcher of Nottingham.
Halifax II DT694 took off 1818 14 Feb 1943 from Rufforth. Shot down by a night-fighter (LT Johannes Hager 6.)
