Family History

Harold Walker was born in 1887. He married Patience Beardmore (born 21st December 1888 Beeston) in 1910 at Nottingham. In 1911, Harold and Patience lived with her parents, Charles James and Susan Beardmore at 44, Rosetta Road, Old Basford. Charles was a baker whilst Patience worked as a lace curtain maker. Harold and Patience later lived at 7, Ford Street, New Basford with their son, Harry, born 18th March 1915. With effect from 28/4/1919, Patience was awarded a weekly pension of 6/8d. She married Walter Chambers at Nottingham 8/3/1919.

Military History

Harold Walker enlisted at Nottingham whilst living at New Basford. He died of Sepsis whilst a prisoner of war and is buried in Cologne Southern Cemetery, Grave Reference: XVII B 35.
