Military History

22 Sqdn RAFVRArthur Anthony was killed aboard Beaufort N1081 along with Flying Officer F M Boycott, Pilot Officer S A Taylor and Sergeant G W R Nesbitt: missing believed killed; aircraft failed to return from an operation to attack shipping. It is assumed an unidentified SOS appeal was from this aircraft after being shot down by an Me110.
