Family History

He was the son of Archibald and Jane McMillan and the brother of Jane, Robert, Agnes and William H McMillan. In 11891 they lived at 23 Northville Street Raglan Street Peas Hill Road St Ann's Nottingham. He was the husband of Caroline McMillan of 804 Lipton Street Winnipeg. He served as a volunteer in the South African campaign with the 1st Bn Sherwood Foresters.

Military History

He served in the Canadian Field Artillery 9th Bde. He is buried in Reninghelst New Military Cemetery (grave ref. IV. B. 20).
