Harry was born in Carlton 1894, the son of the William and Mary Anne Burdett. He was one of 7 children and the family were living on Foxhill Road, Carlton in 1901. By 1911 Harry was living with his married sister and her family at 45 Cemetery Road, Carlton. He was an Office boy working for the railway. His father had died in 1910 and his mother in 1908. Husband of Susan Jane Burdett, of 403, Ashdale Avenue, Toronto, Ont.
Served with the Canadian Army Service Corps. He is buried in the Toronto (St Johns Norway) Cemetery, Canada.
The Carlton War Memorial states he served with the Royal Army Service Corps
