He was the son of Henry and Mary Daley and the brother of Mary Helen, Isaac Newton, Frederick, Thomas Charles, Larry, Edwin and Herbert Daley. In 1891 and 1901 they lived at Arnold.

Military History

He first enlisted 13/1/1902. Presumably recalled at the outbreak of war as a reservist, he arrived in theatre (France) 11/11/1914. He was awarded the Silver War Badge (B 96509) and discharged 21/1/1919 (sickness). He died at Retford J/F/M/1920 (Free BMD). No UKSWD or CWGC records
