Family History
He was the son of John and Elizabeth Mansfield and the brother of Agnes, Sarah, Joseph, Mary and Fanny Mansfield. In 1891 they lived at 45 Bertram Street Trent Bridge Footway and later at 65 Colwick Road (both Nottingham). In 1911 George was a private serving with 15th Hussars at Potchefstroom Tranavaal South Africa.
