He was the son of Henry and Sarah Hyde and the brother of Annie, Marie, Ernest, Arthur and Joseph Hyde. In 1901 they lived at 7 Thorneywood Lane Sneinton Hill Nottingham.
Military History
Lance Corporal George Hyde, enlisted on 2nd March 1911 and served with the 11th Hussars. He landed in France on 15th August 1914 and was killed in action 13th October 1914. He is buried in Meteren Military Cemetery.11th (Prince Albert's Own) Hussars
