He was the son of William and Kate Wilson and the brother of Kate, Lily, Grace and May Wilson. In 1901 they lived at 16 Pump Street Sneinton Nottingham. In 1911 he was boarding in Lincolnshire. He was the husband of Edith (née Holland) Wilson and the father of William, Royce and Adelaide Wilson.
