Lance Corporal George Harvey enlisted in Nottingham, he served with 'C' Coy 1st battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, landing in France on 26th May 1915. He died of wounds on 3rd October 1915 and is buried in Lillers Communal Cemetery
