Frederick was born in Calverton in 1885 the son of Samuel and Alice Jeffery. In 1901 they lived at Crookdole Lane Calverton. Samuel was born 1856 and was a bricklayer's labourer and Alice was born in 1859. By 1911 Frederick was still living in Calverton but married to Daisy Emma Jeffery.
