He was the son of Francis Edward and Eliza Morris (later Eliza Porter of Rotherham). He was the brother of Lily, Frank, Susan, Doris and Harry Morris. In 1911 they lived at 120 Watnall Road Hucknall Torkard Nottinghamshire.

Military History

Gunner Thomas Edward Morris, served with ‘Y’ 34th Brigade, Trench Mortar Battery, Royal Field Artillery, he died of wounds on 9th April 1918. He is buried in Tourgeville Military Cemetery, Calvados.
