Sergeant Thomas Waterfield enlisted on 19th November 1908 , he served with the Sherwood Foresters and later King's Own Yorkshire Infantry, In 1911 he was with the Sherwood Foresters in India. In France from 4th November 1914. He was awarded a Silver War Badge number B291276 so invalid out of the army due to illness or injuries.Discharge date 10th May 1919
