He was the son of Mary Ann Knight of 76 Ilkeston Road Radford Nottingham.
Private Harry Knight, 10th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, was killed in action 15th April 1917. Having no known grave, he is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
In memoriam published 15th April 1918 in the Nottingham Evening Post : - “KNIGHT. – In ever-loving memory of my dear son, Harry Knight, 76, Ilkeston-road, killed in action April 15th. – Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his sorrowing mother. “KNIGHT. – In loving memory of my dear brother, Pte. Harry Knight, Notts. and Derby, killed in action April 14th, 1917. Ever remembered. – Maudie. “KNIGHT. – In loving memory of our dear brother, Pte. Harry Knight, killed in action April 15th, 1917.
