Family History
He was the son of Edward and Mary Williams and the brother of Florence, Arthur (killed in action 27/6/1917), Lily, Mary, John, William, George and Cyril Williams. In 1911 they lived at 10 Norland Road and Later 29 Cathcart Street (both St Ann's Road Notingham).
Military History
He enlisted in Nottingham as No. 24554 in the Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Regiment) but was posted to 15th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment. He was killed in action and buried at Dadizeele New British Cemetery (IV. F. 9)
