Family History

He was the son of Henrietta Tuckwood and the brother of Sarah, Mary, Henrietta, Elizabeth and May Tuckwood. In 1901 they lived at 35 Westville Street Peas Hill Road St Emmanuel (St Ann's) Nottingham. Henrietta later lived at 48 Caroline Street Peas Hill Road. He was the husband of Lottie (née Rosssell) Tuckwood of 37 Ashforth Street Alfred Street St Ann's Nottingham.

Military History

Tuck wood enlisted in the Sherwood Foresters, No. 4488, before being transferred to the Middlesex Regiment. He was killed in action during the Third Battle of Ypres, but his body was never recovered. His name was commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial (Panel 113-115)
