He was the son of Mr. C. Worthington, of 28, Dawson St., Carlton Rd., Nottingham. In 1911 he lived at 1 Cottage Yard Moodey Street Carlton Road Nottingham.
Military History
Private George Worthington, enlisted in Nottingham and served with the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire) Regiment, He was killed in action on 28th March 1918. He is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.
