Family History

He was the son of William Thomas Robinson. He was the husband of Mabel (née Brown) Robinson. In 1911 they lived at 6 Hardstaff Road Sneinton Nottingham before moving to 24 Kimberley Street, Nottingham (Evening Post, October 9, 1917) He was the father of Arthur Robinson. Mabel married Herbert Harding in 1923 and they lived at 24 Sedgley Avenue Sneinton Dale Nottingham.

Military History

Gunner William Thomas Robinson, served with the 244th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery, he was killed in action on 13th September 1917. He is buried in Artillery Wood Cemetery.

In memoriam published 13th September 1918 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “ROBINSON. – In loving memory of my dear husband, Gnr. W. T. Robinson, R.G.A., who was killed in action Sept. 13th, 1917.
