He was the son of Joseph and Annie Belcher and the brother of Annie Ruth, Nellie, Nelson, Evelyn, Mercia and Barbara Belcher. In 1911 they lived at 5 Axford's Yard Butler's Hill Hucknall Torkard Nottinghamshire.
Military History
Private Frederick Belcher, enlisted at Nottingham and served with the 8th Battalion Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), he was killed in action on 12th October 1917. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial.
