Private Thomas Henry Lea enlisted at Nottingham, whilst residing at Sneinton, he served with the 1st battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment he went to France on 4th November 1914 and was killed in action, on 11th March 1915 during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
