Family History

Walter was the son of Walter and Ellen Hinks and the brother of George Henry, Ernest, Harold, Fanny and Albert Hinks. In 1911 they lived at 20 Kentwood Road Sneinton Nottingham. He married Lilian Sayers on 16 August 1917 at St Stephen Parish Church, Nottingham and was sent to Passchendaele a few days later where he died - they had been married for just over a month.
