Frederick William Jeans was born in 1897 at London was the son of George a labourer and Elizabeth Annie Jeanes née Henrys of 8 Willey's Yard Sutton in Ashfield Nottinghamshire. George was born in 1874 in Worcestershire, Elizabeth Annie Henrys was born in 1875 at Redhill, Surrey they were married in C1895 and had 6 children, Frederick William b1897, Emily Sophia b1899, Elizabeth Annie b1901, George b1903 Alice b1908 and Georgina May b1911. In 1911 the family are living at Hatfield Road, Thorne.
