He was the son of George and Mary Jane Babbs and the brother of Alice, Dorothy and Hilda Babbs. They lived in 1911 at 11 Victoria Street Hucknall Torkard Nottinghamshire.
Military History
Private Albert Babbs, enlisted at Derby whilst resident at Hucknall he served with 1/5th Battalion Leicestershire Regiment, he was killed in action on 24th September 1918. He is buried in Cerisy-Gailly Military Cemetery.
