John Henry Curzon

John Henry Curzon was born in 1886 at Southwell and was the son of Walter a jobbing gardener and Mary Curzon née Smith of Waterloo Yard, King Street, Southwel. His father Walter was born in 1853 at Upton and his mother Mary Smith was born in 1854 at Southwell, they were married in 1875 at Southwell and went on to have the following children, Mary Emma b1876, Frances Lois b1879 and John Henry b1885 all were born at Southwell. John Henry married his wife Daisy Barker (born 1885 Horncastle) in 1909 at Southwell they went on to have a son John Ernest born 1910 a daughter Hilda b1917 and a further son Joseph b1918 all were born at Southwelll they lived at Park View Southwell. In the 1911 census John Henry and his family are living at Park View, Southwell and are shown as John Henry 25 yrs a twist hand, he is living with his wife Daisy 26 yrs and their son John Ernest 1 year of age. In the same 1911 census his parents are living at Waterloo Yard, King Street, Southwell and are shown as Walter 58 years a jobbing gardener, he is living with his wife Mary 55 yrs and a boarder Henry Smith 53 yrs a builders carter.
