John Henry Richard Eyre Allsebrook was born in 1897 the son of William and Ellen Allsebrook née Rudd of Pinxton Derbyshire. William was born in 1875 at Bagthrope, Ellen Rudd was born in 1875 at Somercotes, they were married in 1892 their marriage was recorded in the Basford registration district they had 7 children. John married Maud Alice Allis (born 30th July 1899) in 1918 their marriage was recorded in the Basford registration district they lived at Park House 18 Victoria Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, Commencing 7th April 1919 his widow Maud was awarded a pension of 13 shillings and 9 pence a week.

Military History
