All Saints Church News, May 1919: 'Albert Henry Upton, 2 Russell Street, Rifleman Kings Royal Rifles, enlisted January 1915, wounded on the Somme July 1916, taken prisoner March 26th 1918, died in Germany August 1918 aged 23. Has been moved about a year.'
