Albert Derrick was born in 1898 the son of John a frame work knitter and Jane Derrick née Simpson and the brother of Ethel and Edith Derrick of Debdale Lane Keyworth Nottinghamshire. John was born in 1845 at Keyworth, Jane Simpson was born in 1853 also at Keyworth, married in 1887 at Keyworth. In 1911 the family live at Debdale Lane Keyworth.
Military History
Gunner Albert Derrick, served with A Battery Royal Field Artillery he died of pneumonia on 4th March 1919 and is buried at Cologne Southern Cemetery
