Driver Alfred Rawlins enlisted at Thoresby whilst residing at Ollerton. He served with the 65th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery and died of wounds on 3rd October 1918 he is buried in Templeux-le-Guerard Communal Cemetery Extension, France, Somme.
