Family History
George was the son of Thomas and Mary Ann Asher. In 1908, he married Ethel Harby and they had four children - Frank, born 1909, Edith, born 1911, Arthur born 1912, died 1913 and Douglas, born 1914. They lived at 18, Radcliffe Road, Mansfield. Ethel married Jesse Brittain at Mansfield in 1917.
