Edward Henry White married his wife Florence Jane Purton in 1905 in Farnham, Hampshire, they went on to have 3 children , Eva May b1907 Camberley Surrey, William Henry b1908 Aldershot and Lewis b1910 Farnborough Hampshire. In the 1911 census the family are living at 2 Smith Street, Radford, Nottingham and are shown as Edward Henry 26 yrs born Nottingham a railway goods porter, he is living with his wife Florence Jane 28 yrs born Retford and their children Eva May 4 rs, William Henry 3 yrs and Lewis 1 yr

Military History

Gunner Edward Henry White, served with “B” Battery, 317th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. He landed in France on 16th August 1914 serving throughout the war he died of pneumonia on 17th November 1918. He is buried in St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen.
