Family History

He was the son of Arthur and Ada Vickers. He was the nephew of William and Janet Coupe, living with his aunt and uncle at 46 High Street, Old Basford, in 1911.

Military History

Rifleman Percy Arthur Vickers, enlisted at Nottingham and served with the 1st Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps. He landed in France on 21st May 1915 and was killed in action on 27th July 1916. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
