he was the son of Sarah Seymour.
Driver/Gunner Horace George Seymour, enlisted at Nottingham and served with the 72nd Battery, 38th Brigade Royal Field Artillery, he was killed in action on 11th October 1918. He is buried in Zantvoorde British Cemetery.
In memoriam published 11th October 1919 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “SEYMOUR. – In loving memory of Horace G. Seymour, who was killed in action in France October 11th, 1918.
