Family History

He was the son of William and Hannah Stevenson and the brother of Ada, Tom, Phoebe Elsie, William Edward, Florence, Ethel and James Oliver Stevenson. In 1911 they lived at 206 Gordon Road Alfred Street Nottingham. He was the husband of Phoebe (née Stapleton) Stevenson and the father of William H Stevenson. In 1915 they lived at 6 Linden Place Hyson Green Nottingham. Following Stevenson's enlistment and subsequent death, Phoebe lived with his parents at 206 Gordon Road.

Military History

He attested under Lord Derby's Scheme 12/12/1915 and was mobilised 8/4/1916. He was posted 28/7/1916 and killed 18 days later.

Extra Information

19/2/1917 Phoebe Stevenson was awarded a weekly pension of 15/- for herself and son.
