Tom Wright (junior) was born in 1897 the son of the late Tom Wright (senior) a lace worker and Annie Louise Wright née Reed of 7 Park Terrace, Nottingham.Tom Wright (senior) was born in 1869 at Boston, Lincolnshire, Annie Louise Reed was born in 1871 at Ripley, they were married in 1893 at Nottingham, in 1911 the family lived at 8 Regent Street, Nottingham, Annie Louise Wright 40 yrs is a widow and boarding house keeper she is living with her children, Nora Marion 17 yrs and Harry 16 yrs.
Second Lieutenant Tom Wright was killed in action on 13th October 1915, having no known memorial his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial
