He was the son of William, a marble polisher, and Rose H, a lace clipper, Beardall. He was the brother of William Beardall who was a cabinet maker, and Rose who was a lace clipper. In 1901 they lived at 13 Kidd Street Nottingham. He was the husband of Ellizabeth (née Hutchinson) Beardall and the father of Eliza, Lily, Henry and William Beardall. In 1911 they lived at 29 Beck Street Nottingham.
