Family History

He was the son of Alfred and Martha Richardson and the brother of Thomas, Edith, Alfred and Samuel Richardson. In 1891 they lived in a cottage on Shelt Hill opposite the Nags Head Public House Main Street Woodborough. In 1911 the family was living at Wyldes Yard in Woodborough.

Military History

He enlisted at Carlton Nottingham and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial on the Somme in France.
