Parents: George and Sarah Ann Ball of Lenton Wife: Alice, nee Jackson, married 1903. Child Minnie born 1906. Living in Cleethorpes after the war. Henry lived in Lenton pre conscription and after his death his widow moved to live with her sister in Cleethorpes. His death certificatewas sent to his widow at 17 Rooth Street, Mansfield.

Gunner Henry Ball, served wit the 296th Brigade Headquarters Royal Field Artillery, he died of wounds on 12th July 1918. He is buried in Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille.
