Wallace Kerry

Wallace Kerry was the son of [John] Thomas Kerry and Mary Ann Singleton who married at Nottingham in 1885. Their children included: Ada Alice (b.1885), Wallace (b.1886), Lilly Louisa (b.1888/d.1891), John Thomas (b.1892), Arthur (b.1895), Frank (b.1898), Ethel (b.1900) and Annie Evelyn (b.1908). The family lived at: 14 Butler Street, Radford [C.1891]; 2 Bloomsgrove Street, Radford [C.1901]; 87 Salisbury Street, Radford [C.1911]. John Thomas Kerry, who worked as bicycle maker's labourer [C.1901], died at Nottingham, aged 47, in 1910. His widow, Mary Ann, then married Arthur Treece at Nottingham in 1912. They lived at 87 Salisbury Street, Radford [Army records/1919 & CWGC]. She died at Nottingham, aged 78, in 1944. Her second husband, Arthur Treece died at Nottingham, aged 71 in 1937. On 14 October 1911 Wallace Kerry married Emily Jones at the Nottingham Register Office. They had two sons: Wallace (b.1911) and Albert Edward (b.1914). The family lived at 12 Dorset Street, Radford [n.e.p.12.6.1915]. In 1918 his widow, Emily, married Walter H. Oldham at Nottingham. She died at Nottingham, aged 79, in 1969.
