Family History

George Ernest Frost was the son of Ernest Frost and Hannah Knight who married in the Basford registration district in 1898. Their children included: George Ernest (b.1899) and John Francis (b.1900). In 1901 the family were living at 5 Noel Street, Mansfield. In 1911 the family home was 11 Laby Terrace, Kinglake Street, Meadows, Nottingham although Ernest Frost was boarding separately with a family at 15 Annesby Street, Nottingham. Later the Frosts lived at 13 Ben Street, Radford [CWGC]. Ernest Frost, who worked a house painter, died in 1934, aged 61 in 1934 when he was living at 130 London Road, Nottingham. His wife Hannah had predeceased him, dying at Nottingham, aged 52, in 1931.
