Military History

Pte. Linfoot was called up for service and following training he was drafted to France. He was a member of 'B' Battery, 290th Brigade, R.F.A. and fought in the Third Battle of Ypres just north of the town, where he was killed in action on 04/10/1917. He was buried at Buffs Road Cemetery.
