Sisters: Phoebe, born in 1879 in Nottingham and working as a cotton winder, Mary, born in 1883 in Nottingham and also working as a cotton winder, Linda, born in 1889 at Long Eaton, Derbyshire and working as a lace maker and Gladys, born in 1898 at Kegworth, Leicestershire. The family lived at 12 Union Street, Long Eaton. George Henry Fletcher married Beatrice May Fletcher nee Bramer in 1909. Beatrice was born in 1886 at Worksop, Nottinghamshire. They lived at 132 Exeter Road, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham, before moving to 25 Preston Terrace, Bunbury Street, meadows, Nottingham.

Military History

Pte. Fletcher was called u for service and following training he was drafted to France. The battalion took part in fighting during the Third Battle of Ypres and he was killed in action on20/09/1917. He is buried in Tyne Cot Cemetery , Belgium .
